T.I. Publicly Apologizes to Daughter Deyjah Harris Following Hymen Drama

The ‘No Mediocre’ rapper takes to his Instagram account to issue an apology to both Deyjah and Tiny Harris’ daughter Zonnique along with several photos of them together.

The death of Kobe Bryant apparently is hitting T.I. so hard that he has decided to publicly apologize to all of his family members before it’s too late. This included his daughter Deyjah Harris, whom he previously embarrassed by saying on that he always gets her hymen checked on her birthday to make sure that the teenager is still a virgin.

On Sunday, January 26, Tip shared on Instagram several photos of him with Deyjah and Zonnique, the daughter of Tiny Harris (Tameka Cottle). In the lengthy caption of the post, the “No Mediocre” rapper gushed over the two ladies, whom he described as “strong, brilliantly opinionated, independent young women,” before saying, “Please forgive me for any and all imperfections that cause misunderstanding between us…”

He continued, “Charge my mind, not my heart. You see Life may throw us curveballs & deal us some pretty bad hants at times. But rest assured, you’ll NEVER find yourself in a place too high or low for me to be there to catch you when you fall. I just Can’t let another second go by without letting you know while we’re still here in this life together… You have ALL MY LOVE FOR ALL MY LIFE… &AFTER!!”

Deyjah hasn’t responded to his post, though Zonnique has turned to the comment section to write, “I love you pops.”

Last November, Tip caused a stir among people after he revealed that he always checks Deyjah’s virginity on her birthday. The controversy prompted Deyjah to deactivate her Instagram account, though she has now returned. Despite the backlash, the “Ant Man and the Wasp” star stood up by his comment and insisted he didn’t understand all the drama.

“I think that in the age or the time when our women — black women — are the most unprotected, unattended, disregarded women on the planet, I’m being criticized because I’m willing to go above and beyond to protect mine,” he said on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s “Red Table Talk“. “Anything that is the most important thing to me in my life, I am going to deal with that with very extreme care. And I don’t understand how that is looked at as being so wrong.”
